The approved scheme will deliver up to 3,300 new homes, including 660 affordable homes, alongside five acres of public open space, a new 3.5-acre park, enhanced retail provision and community uses. Designed across ten buildings, the project reflects Henley’s ability to reimagine complex brownfield sites at scale, balancing much-needed housing delivery with public realm, local amenities, employment creation and long-term community value.
Delivering a £1.3bn new neighbourhood for Salford.
Location: Salford, UK
Overview
Regent Park is Henley’s £1.3 billion mixed-use regeneration project in Salford, set to transform the existing Regent Retail Park into a new sustainable neighbourhood just outside Manchester city centre.
”“Regent Park brings together many of the elements that define successful urban regeneration: new homes, affordable housing, public green space, retail, community uses and improved connectivity. It is a major development, but it is also about creating a neighbourhood that feels connected to Salford and serves the people who already live, work and spend time there.”
