Henley joined leading figures from across the Midlands property sector at the inaugural M-RES: Midlands Real Estate Summit in Birmingham, where discussions focused on the projects, partnerships and investment shaping the region’s next phase of growth.
Jay Squier of Henley took part in a panel exploring HS2, the Knowledge Quarter and the future of Birmingham, alongside representatives from Bruntwood SciTech, Birmingham City Council and HS2.
During the discussion, Jay shared Henley’s vision for Central Heart and the proposed redevelopment of Martineau Place, an important city centre site with the potential to deliver up to 1,500 new homes alongside office accommodation and potential hotel and leisure uses.
The conversation also explored the wider transformation taking place across Birmingham, including the arrival of HS2, improving connectivity and the role major mixed-use developments can play in supporting the city’s continued growth.
Henley’s plans for Martineau Place reflect a wider ambition to create a well-connected, mixed-use destination that contributes meaningfully to Birmingham city centre and its long-term evolution.
The summit brought together more than 250 representatives from local government, development, investment and the wider property industry.
